Who operates this site

MIDI From MP3 is operated by the site owner under the name MIDI From MP3. This policy describes the current website at midifrommp3.com.

Your audio and MIDI files

The converter processes your selected audio in your own browser. The converter does not upload the file, its audio samples, or the generated MIDI to our hosting service or an external transcription service. There is no account system or saved conversion history.

The current result is held in browser memory and is cleared when you select another file or refresh the page. Files you download remain wherever you save them on your device.

Website delivery and technical information

Opening the website still requires ordinary network requests to download its pages, code, and model. Our hosting provider processes technical request information, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time, to deliver and protect the site. Local audio processing does not mean that visiting the website is anonymous.

The hosting service currently adds a browser analytics script to some pages. This is separate from local audio conversion; the converter does not send your audio to this service. No advertising script is currently installed. Hosting, analytics, and security services may process technical visit information separately from the converter.

Contact messages

If you email us, your message, email address, and any information you include are handled by our email forwarding and mailbox providers and read by the site operator to address your request. Unlike files selected in the converter, attachments sent by email leave your device. Please do not email audio files or sensitive information unless needed for your request.

You may contact us to request deletion of your correspondence. We do not promise a fixed deletion period for copies retained by email providers.

Future advertising

We plan to display third-party advertisements in the future. No advertisements or third-party advertising scripts are currently installed. Before adding them, we will update this policy to describe the providers and their data practices and provide any required consent controls.
